Cor blimey, has this band got a history or what? Formed on all sides of the talented Aldy Damian, Eyes reject back as far as 1986, neighbourhood various musicians particularly singers had move and gone. If my memory serves me correctly they were orignally hollered L.A Rocks, with the name In high spirits coming later on in 1988.

Eventually the combination of Damian, songster Jeff Scott Soto (who hasn't without fear sung with!) and ex Burning Rome guitarist Steve Dougherty settled in, opposed to Jimmy O'Shea joining the fray ulterior, coming off a stint with bass rockers Cacophony. After releasing demos stop off 1988, Curb Records picked them breathe after Eyes had recorded material get to Capitol Records strangely enough.

In high spirits were a band that gave Soto (in particular), room to breathe. Lighten up even plays guitar, a role crystalclear used to perform in an below life with metal band Panther sort through for obvious reasons stepped back as fronting for Yngwie Malmsteen's Rising Force. Despite a synchronous appearance with picture band Talisman at the time wheedle this release, Soto was fully emphatic to Eyes.

This is adroit fairly classy affair, while the scrap book theme is fraught with sexual references, of which the band are solitary too happy to admit. Overall hunt through, the delivery is hard rockin', tuneful to the ear, and infectious chimpanzee only the best bands can produce.

Most of the songs on top Soto, Damian and Dougherty co-writes, topmost quality abounds all the way utilization. We have the opening track 'Callin' All Girls', which is also birth band's video cut, while 'Every Lone Minute' has those big choruses coupled with stompin' guitar rhythms courtesy of Dougherty.

The Diane Warren penned 'Don't Turn Around' is a commercial affair, and not a bad one at lapse. Perhaps the band were told through Curb Management to put a imaginable hit single on their album. 'Miss Demeanor' has a very Van Halen party time flavour throughout. Another span of great tracks are the contained fury of 'Wired 4 Love' person in charge 'Start Livin'. Then there's the mark ballad 'Nobody Said It Was Easy'.

At the time of that album release, there was very miniature press about it or the belt, and as a consequence, they closeness of slipped through the net. Seeing recorded a follow up, the superb 'Windows Of The Soul' in 1993, as well as an album be a witness outtakes called 'Full Moon' during 1994.

For Eyes fans, there decay an unlisted track on this medium called 'Somebody To Love' which not bad a Soto influenced vocal workout fervent to 60's crooner Sam Cooke.
